Yuvakshetra Institute of Management studies celebrated World Environment Day (5-6-2020). The theme for World Environment Day 2020 is, ‘Time for Nature,’ with a focus on its role in providing the essential infrastructure that supports life on Earth and human development. On this auspicious occasion Rev. Fr. Shaju Angeveettil (Bursar) planted a Mango tree and inaugurated the Celebrations. Rev. Dr. Mathew George Vazhayil ( Director) delivered the message in which he advised through social media to all Staff and students to show respect to the Mother Nature and also to be friendly enough to plant trees in order to maintain the natural equilibrium. Dr. Tomy Antony (Principal), Rev. Dr. Lalu Olikkal (Vice Principal), Rev. Fr. Shyju Pariyath (Asst. Director) and all the staff of Department of Geography were present on the occasion. Mr. Chandrasekar(Asst. Professor & Green Fan Nature Club Coordinator) welcomed all and Dr. Ramachandran (Head-Department of Geography) expressed vote of thanks.
