ONE DAY WEBINAR REPORT MAY 2020-2021
The PG Department of English conducted a one day webinar on 24th May 2021 from 10:45 am to 12:30 pm to commemorate the 160th Birth Anniversary of Nobel Laureate Rabindranath Tagore. The program was titled “The Bard Of Bengal: Reminiscing The Tagorian Legacy”. Ms. Grace Aganice, Assistant Professor, Department of English delivered the welcome address. Dr. Tomy Antony, Principal, gave the inaugural address and inaugurated the webinar. This was followed by paper presentations by Ms. Sharon Stanley, II MA English, Mr. Jibin Jose P, HOD, Department of English, Ms. Geeta Ravindran, Assistant Professor, Department of English and Rev. DR. Lalu Olikkal, Vice Principal, Department of English on the topics Biography sketch, Literary Contributions, Geetanjali and Nobel Prize and Educational Contributions of Tagore respectively. Ms. Elizabeth Baby, Assistant Professor, Department of English proposed the vote of thanks. Ms. S Aiswarya, Assistant Professor, Department of English was the master of ceremony.
