The Department of Computer Science has conducted an International Webinar for 3 days to various UG/PG aspirants and Researchers. The main vision of this webinar is to give guidance in choosing right career and tips to become an Entrepreneur. Through this webinar, Department of Computer science has enlighten Participants about the various Higher Studies Opportunities Abroad and also in developing a bright career.

Day 1 Report:
First day of the webinar started at 11 AM with a welcome address by Ms Meena Jose Komban (HoD) and official message was delivered by Rev Dr Mathew George Vazhayil (Director, YIMS). Later the session was taken by the resource person Mr.Jeevas Vasudevan Solution Architect- Cloud and IoT, Singtel Optus Pty Ltd, Australia. He handled the topic: “Things of Future, Past- A session on Embedded Technology” to participants (347 participants).
After the session, students asked their queries and the resource person had cleared all doubts. The first day of the webinar segment ended with a vote of thanks by Mr. Anilkumar B (Asst.Professor,Dept of CS),
Day 2 Report:
Second day of the webinar started at 2 PM with a welcome speech by Ms Meena Jose Komban (HoD) and official message by Dr Tomy Antony (Principal, YIMS). After which the session was handled by the resource person Ms.Jaleena Sunny, Early Stage Researcher, University Of Liverpool, United Kingdom. She dealt on the topic “Higher Studies Opportunities Abroad” to the Particpants (289 participants).
After the session, students have cleared their doubts about regarding the topic. At last we concluded the session with a vote of thanks by Mr. Jibin Joy, Assistant Professor.
Day 3 Report :
Day 3 being the final day of the webinar started at 11 AM with a welcome address by Ms Ramya.R ( Asstistant Professor) and official message by Rev Dr Lalu Olikkal (Vice principal, YIMS) . Then the session was presented by the resource person Mr. Rakesh Ramachandran, CEO & CO-FOUNDER, QBRICS INC, US. He shared his ideas and views on “Essentials Of Becoming An Entrepreneur” to the Participants. A total of 278 participants made the session. The participants were mainly from UG and PG Aspirants,Researcher fellows from various parts of the world.
At last we concluded the 3 Day National Webinar @ yims with a vote of thanks delivered by Mr. Praveen. S (Program Coordinator).
For the smooth conduct of this programme, Technical co-ordinators Mr Jibin Joy (Assistant Professor) and Mr.Anil kumar.B (Assistant Professor) assisted along with Mr Sujith and Mr Girish (System Admins) of our Department. All the participants were issued e-certificates to their registered email id,immediately after final day’s session via feedback forms , which was created using Google forms and its add on plug-in ‘certify’em’
