The international conference on “Advances in AI for a sustainable future” was organized by PG Dept. of Commerce. The main aim of the conference was to bring together leading academicians, researchers and students to exchange and share their experiences and research outputs on all aspects of AI. It was also meant to provide a premier interdisciplinary platform to present and discuss the most recent innovations, trends and concerns as well as practical challenges encountered as well as solutions adopted in the field of AI.

Day 1

17/10/2023

The first day of international conference started with an inaugural session with a welcome note by Dr. Matilda Danny, HOD PG Dept. of commerce. This was followed by the presidential address by our principal Dr. Tomy Antony. The inaugural address was by our director Rev. Dr. Mathew George Vazhayil. Felicitations were given by our vice principal Rev. Dr. Joseph Olikkal Koonal. Dr. Diana Ann Issac, HOD PG Dept. of commerce of Mar Athanasius College, Koothamangalam was the chief guest of the day. The chief guest, principal, director, vice principal and HOD of PG Dept. of commerce inaugurated the function by lighting the lamp and a vote of thanks was proposed by Remya mam, Asst. Professor, PG Dept. of commerce. A session on “AI AND FRAUD DETECTION “was conducted by Dr. Sivakumar, Asst. Professor, PG Dept. of commerce, SREENEELAKANTA GOVT. SANSKRIT COLLEGE, PATTAMBI. In the afternoon session 23 participants from different colleges and universities presented the paper. The session had a chair and co-chair who were experts in the domain. Each author was given 5 minutes for the paper presentation.

Day 2

18/10/2023:

The 2nd day of international conference started at 9.30am by a session on “AI FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS- HARNESSING TECHNOLOGY FOR GLOBAL PROGRESS” conducted by Dr. Diana Ann Issac, the session ended by 11am. Another session on “USE OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE IN AUDITING” was conducted by Mr. Gopalan Puthukulam lecturer of Dept. OF BUSINESS, UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY AND APPLIED SCIENCES, MUSCAT, OMAN. A session on “STARTUPS AND AI ADOPTION” was conducted by Dr. Vivek S A, Ass. Professor in management, Sreekrishnapuram V T Bhattathiripad college . The afternoon session was engaged by paper presentation, 21 participants from different colleges presented their paper.

Day 3

19/10/2023

The 3rd day of the international conference started with a keynote lecture by an eminent personality in the domain. A keynote lecture on” GENERATIVE AI POWERED PERSONAL INVESTMENT STRATEGIES” was delivered by Ms. NUR LALUA RASHIDAH MOHD RAHSIAD. The afternoon session was engaged by paper presentation, 25 participants from different colleges presented the paper.
