The Department of Psychology conducted A National Level Online Poster Making Competition as apart of World Suicide Prevention Day observed on 10th September annually, and to spread awareness regarding suicide prevention. The theme for the poster making competition was “Working Together To Prevent Suicide”.
The programme was organized by the Department of Psychology, Yuvakshetra Institute of Management Studies, Mundur, Palakkad, Kerala. The programme was coordinated by Mr. Sannet Thomas, (Asst. Professor, Program coordinator), Ms. Athira P. V., (Asst. Professor & Assistant coordinator) and Sneha K. Sabu, (III Bsc Psychology, Student coordinator) with the guidance of Mr. Jith George (Hod of the Department)
The competition was conducted separately for digital and handmade posters. 37 college students (UG and PG) participated in the competition, of which 25 were handmade and 12 were digital. The submission date for the competition was till 20th September 10 AM.
The results of the competition were announced by the Head of the Department Jith George on 24th September. The winners of the competition;
