Yuvakshetra College adorned its crown by adding one more golden feather to its list of attainments as it bagged the second prize in the state level competition for Rev. Francis Njallampuzha Memorial Magazine Award conducted by Mary Matha Arts and Science College, Mananthavady, Wayanad. Yuvakshetra College magazine, titled Paralmeenukal Vettippulayunna Thottuvakkilirunnu Kokkukal Valmakrikalodu Mukham Thirichathre! received great acclamations from the jury and the readers for maintaining excellent quality and aesthetic sagacity in the selection of the theme, articles, illustrations and presentation. ary Matha College on 5th Occtober 2018 and a team of magazine committee received the memento and the cash prize worth Rs. 3001/- from Prof. Gopinath Raveendran, Honourable Vice Chancellor, Kannur University. The magazines of Sir Sayeed College, Thaliparamba and Malayalam University, Tirur won the first and third prizes respectively in the competition.
