Yuvakshetra College adorned its golden crown by adding one more feather to it as the institution hosted a high profile programme designated Meet the Mentor 2018 on 8 November at Christ Hill Square in which the honourable Supreme Court Judge, Justice Kurian Joseph interacted with the students and clarified their doubts regarding various topics which are of contemporary relevance. In the inaugural address, honourable Justice pinpointed the importance of keeping honesty and integrity in one’s life and exhorted the students to follow these principles without failure. His Excellency also opined that the teachers should be able to wipe off the darkness of evil with the light of knowledge. The function was presided over by Dr. Tomy Antony, Principal, YIMS. Dr. Powshi and Dr. Ramalekshi, the new doctorate holders among Yuvakshetra faculties, were congratulated in the function. Rev. Fr. Shaju Angeveettil, Bursar felicitated the event. Rev. Fr. Dr. Mathew George Vazhayil, Director welcomed the gathering and Rev. Fr. Dr. Lalu Olikkal, Vice Principal proposed the vote of thanks. In a following event, the honourable Judge laid the foundation stone of the new block, which is to be built in commemoration of the jubilee year of the ordination of His Ex. Mar Jacob Manathodath, Patron of Yuvakshetra College and the Bishop of Palakkad Diocese.
