Every year Yuvakshetra Institute of Management studies hosts a dinner night in the campus organized by the Department of Hotel Management .This event is called “LES OYERS†which is attended by members of the public.
“Les Oyers “is a kind of internship for the students of Hotel Management the ultimate test of the practical skills that they have acquired during the course of study in YIMS.
For Les oyers, students are divided into different sections vise service bridages, production team, clearance team and so on. They have to cater to the needs of various kinds of guests during the dinner night.
This year also, Les oyers was organized on January 14,2017,Saturday.Many guests arrived to avail of the hospitality, the food and the ambience of the dinner and services arranged in open air with in the campus.The guest included Ms.Merin , IPS,Chef Anand George, the director of YIMS Rev .Fr.Cherian Anjilimoottil, the vice principal Rev .Fr.Lalu Olikkal and several others.
After the dinner ,students performed cultural items on the stage, and some of the diners joined the students on the dance floor to the lilting music that was played by the band.
One more feather was added to the well decorated cap of YIMS.
