Yuvakshetracollegecelebrated the fourth International Yoga Day in a grand style on 22 June 2018. In a formal meeting organized at the central square of CH Block in the Yuvakshetra campus, the famous yoga guru Mr. Anilkumar, the Chairman,Indian Clayer Voice Research Centre, Palakkadinaugurated the celebrations. The function was presided over by Rev. Fr. Dr. Mathew George Vazhayil, the Director, YIMS and Rev. Fr. Dr.LaluOlikkal, the Vice Principal felicitated. Rev. Fr.Jaisonkollannur, HOD, Department of Psychology welcomed the gathering and Miss. Aparna, student representative proposed the vote of thanks. After the formal meeting, CH Square witnessed a mass yoga practice performed by the young Yuvakshetriansas it was led by the yoga guru Mr. Anilkumar. The whole event was initiated by the Department of Psychology.
