The Department of Management, conducted an International Conference on Management in Uncertain Environment (ICMUE 2020) An Online Paper Presentation Platform via Google Meet on Aug 27, 2020 and Aug 28, 2020 from Timing : 0930hrs – 1300hrs.
The Two day International conference was welcomed by Ms. Shylaja Menon HOD, Dept of Management. Director Rev Dr .Mathew George Vazhayil delivered the presidential address. Principal Dr. Tomy Antony gave a perfect benedictory address to the conference. Next was the most awaited session, the inauguration by Prof. Dr. Stanley Oliver from UK
The main objective of the International Conference is to extend a platform for the participants from various streams like PG, M.Phil, Ph.D Students and Academicians and build up the quality to write good valuable articles that lead them to improve themselves individually in writing research articles
Through this Conference, we, the Department of Management of YIMS enlighten the participants and made a detailed description in understanding and gave more better insights to make them come up to write more articles.
In the Conference about 30 particiapnts from differenct parts. Google Meet code was provided to the participants by 9.15AM for Conference and after the introduction session are over, the Particviapnts who came to participate were been given separate Google Meet code and their Presentation video that was provided earlier, will be played so as to maintain the time frame of 7min. After the video presentation the panel is discussion starts for 5min.
The Valedictory session was held on 28th Aug , 2020 at 1300hrs and the best paper was awarded to Mr. YOGESH SUBBU from Karunya Deemed to be University, Coimbatore. Later by 1315hrs, the E-Certificate link was provided to all the participants and then the conference winded with National Anthem.

Inaugural function of the The two day International conference was held on 27th august 2020, through yuvakshetra portal via Google meet. The Conference started at 9.30 AM with a prayer rendered by Jemi Femi of third BBA of yims. Ms. Shylaja Menon HOD, Dept of Management welcomed the chief guests, dignitaries and all invited guests all across the world. Our director Rev Dr .Mathew George vazhayil delivered the presidential address.Our Principal Dr.Tomy antony gave a perfect benedictory address to the conference. Next was the most awaited session, the inauguration by prof. Stanley oliver from UK. He officially inaugurated our session through his wonderful words and virtually enlightened the vilakku through Google meet. Our vice principal gave a beautiful felicitation to our delegates. Then vote of thanks was delivered by Dr. Ramya J , programme coordinator of the conference.
After the inaugural session, two keynote lecture sessions were held. First session was delivered by our chief guest Prof. Stanley Oliver on the topic. “Leadership and employee responsibility during uncertainty.”
The second keynote lecture session was handled by Rev. Fr. Joby kunnathettu, from Italy on the topic “Psychological application in uncertain environment”.
After the session, Participants presented their papers in their allotted chairs which was simultaneously telecasted in two different meeting id’s.
The first chair was evaluated by –

2. Dr Devi premnath, Associate Professor, Jansons School of Business, CBE
The second chair was evaluated by –
1. Dr Deepa Venugopal,Associate Professor, DJ Academy of Managerial Excellence, Coimbatore.
2. Dr.S. Ramalekshmi, Assistant Professor, Yuvakshetra Institute of Management Studies, Palakkad.
In both the sessions 7 participants presented their papers through a recorded video and they were present live for receiving the criticism.
The 2nd day of international conference started with a prayer at 9.30am. Dr. Joseph Varghese, Assistant Professor, Dept of Management welcomed the event. The presidential address was delivered by Rev.Fr.Shyju Pariyath, Assistant Director, YIMS.
Dr. W.R.P.K. Fernando from University of Keleniya, Sri Lanka officially inaugurated the second day session by delivering the inaugural speech. The felicitation for the session was delivered by Dr. C. Radhapriya, Lecturer, University of Al-Musanna, Oman.
Ms. Jisha Sankar, Asst. Professor, Dept of Management, YIMS delivered the Vote of thanks.
After the official inauguration keynote lecture session was given by
1. Dr. W.R.P.K. Fernando on the topic “The economy of Srilanka during Covid 19”.
2. Dr. C. Radha Priya on the topic “Managing Finance in Sustained economic Prosperity in Sultanate of Oman”.
3. Dr. Suja Sundram on the topic “Business Hike in Digital Marketing during pandemic in KSA”.
The participants for paper presentation was divided in two chairs and the presentation started at 11.45am. The judging panel for first chair were Dr. Guhaselvi, Associate Professor, GRD Academy of Management, Coimbatore and Dr. Matilda Danny, HOD, Dept of Commerce, YIMS.
The second chair was shared by Dr. J. Clement Sudhakar, Professor, School of Management, Karunya University and Dr. Anand K, Assistant Professor, Govt. Victoria College, Palakkad.
In both the chairs seven participants presented their papers through a recorded video and they were present live for receiving the criticism.
A total number of 35 participants presented their insights on various topics through this platform. The judging panel has given their valuable suggestions and feedback to the participants at the end of each presentation. The presentation session wound up at ___.
After a 15 minutes break started the valedictory function started with a prayer at—–. The welcome speech was delivered by Ms. Prajitha Prasad, Asst. Professor, Dept. Of Management, YIMS.
The conference report was presented by Dr. Ramya J, Programme Coordinator and Asst. Professor, Dept. Of Management, YIMS.The most awaited moment the best paper award was announced by YIMS Director, Rev. Dr. Mathew George Vazhayil.
The felicitation speech was delivered by Rev. Fr. Shaju Angeveettil, Bursar, YIMS.
