The Department of Management in association with IQAC, AICTE & IIC organized an insightful visit to the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Palakkad for the students of Department of Management on July 18, 2024. This educational trip aimed to provide students with exposure to cutting-edge research and innovation at one of India’s premier technical institutions.
During the visit, students had the opportunity to:
- To Explore the state-of-the-art facilities, including research labs, libraries, and
- To Engage in discussions with esteemed professors and researchers, gaining insights into ongoing projects and future trends in technology and
- To provide Technological, Skill and Entrepreneurship Development
- To Participate in hands-on workshops focusing on interdisciplinary approaches to management and
- To Meet with IIT Palakkad students , fostering connections that could lead to future collaborations and career opportunities.
Ms Shylaja Menon, Head of the Department of Management along with Dr Jisha Sankar, Faculty, Department of Management accompanied the students for the visit to IIT, Palakkad. This visit is a significant step in bridging the gap between management education and technological advancements. The students have gained valuable knowledge and inspiration that will undoubtedly enhance their academic and professional journeys.
Students returned from the visit with a deeper understanding of the intersection between management practices and technological innovation, inspired to apply these insights to their studies and future careers.
