As part of MSME Day celebrations, Section BCom Finance of the PG Department of Commerce, YIMS in collaboration with IQAC, organized a Two-day international collaboration meet on 27th June 2024 at Yuvachethana Hall. Dr. Keerthi M. S, HOD of the PG Department of Commerce, welcomed everyone to the programme. Rev. Dr. Joseph Olikkalkoonal, Vice Principal ,YMS, presided over the programme and Rev. Dr. Mathew George Vazhayil, Director ,YIMS provided the keynote address.
The programme began with a lamp-lighting ceremony. Dr. Sharan Kumar Shetty, the Chief guest and resource person, inaugurated the ED club and conducted an insightful session on “Unlocking the Potential for Start-ups – A Thought to the Young Mind”. His session inspired students with various business ideas and encouraged them to pursue entrepreneurship. The program concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Anand S. Nair, a student of II BCom Finance B. Asna R of II BCom CA served as the MC, and Bhoomika K S of II BCom Finance B led the prayer. Ms Anjana K V and Ms Sabitha R Assistant professors of P G Department of Commerce coordinated the programme.
