Hindi Pakhwada Samaroh 2021- Department Of Languages (Hindi )- September 14 to 27, 2021
The Department of Hindi is very much proud to present the report on Hindi Pakhwada Samaroh 2021. This year Hindi Pakhwada Samaroh was conducted from September 14 to 27. The department conducted Essay writing, versification and Extempore competitions.
The Department of Hindi succesfully organised the inauguration ceremony of two week long Hindi day celebrations on 14th September 2021 through the Google meet. Rev.Fr.Dr.Mathew George Vazhayil (Director , YIMS) delivered the presidential address and Dr.Tomy Antony (Principal,YIMS) inaugurated the function.After the inauguration , 2nd BA/BSc students showcased their talents via their brilliant performances.
The Essay writing and versification competitions were open for all college students. The topic given for Essay writing was सोशल मीडिया में व्यक्तिगत प्रदर्शन एवं संभावनाएँ and the topic given for versification was पॉसिटिव . The students were given ample time to write their articles and send to the department E-mail id. There was active participation from the part of students. They shared their creative and imaginative ideas through their Essays and versifications. First Prize for Essay writing was won by RITHIKA UNNI (II Bcom Finance , Govt. Victoria College, Palakkad). Second Prize was won by MEGHA S (III BSc Chemistry,Mercy College Palakkad) and the Third Prize was shared between MYDHILI KRISHNA V (III BSc Physics, YIMS) and ARAVIND A ( II BCom Finance, YIMS). First Prize for versification was won by MEGHA S(III BSc Chemistry,Mercy College Palakkad). Second Prize was won by NANDANA S NAIR (II BSc Mathematics, YIMS) and the Third Prize was shared between AARYA MENON (II BSc Physics YIMS) and RITHIKA UNNI (II Bcom Finance, Govt. Victoria College, Palakkad).
The next competition was Hindi Extempore. It was exclusively for the students of Yuvakshetra Institute of Management Studies. It was conducted through ‘Google Meet’.They were asked to speak on the given topic for 5 minutes. The participants were judged on content, relevance, fluency, and speeches with great confidence. First Prize was won by RIA KADAMANNIL (III BA English, YIMS). Second Prize was won by POOJA R (II BSc Chemistry, YIMS) and the Third Prize was shared between SHREYA SURAJ (II BCom Finance, YIMS) and M CHANDANA (II BSc Mathematics, YIMS).
The two week programme on Hindi Pakhwada Samaroh was successfully completed.
