The Department of Commerce and Management of YIMS conducted a two-day National- Conference on “Emerging Trends and Issues in Commerce and Management” on the 4th and 5th of November, 2016 (Friday and Saturday).
The delegates and participants started registering their names from 9 am on 4th November, 2016. The formal Inauguration function began at 9:30 am. After the prayer, Ms.Ramalakshmi, Head, Department of Commerce and Management welcomed the gathering. Dr.G.Senthilkumar, Co-ordinator of the Conference briefed the participants about the conference. Rev.Fr.Dr.Lalu Olikkal, Vice Principal of YIMS delivered the presidential address. The chief guest, Mr.Sumesh.K.Menon, Managing Director, Winds online and secretary of Palghat Management Anociation (PMA). Mr.Tomy Antony, Principal of YIMS offered felicitation. The Chief Guest, Mr.Sumesh.K.Menon released the National Conference Proceedings and handed it over to Rev.Fr.Dr.Lalu Olikkal As a token and Gratitude the management of the college along with the commerce department handed over mementoes to all the dignitaries on the Dias. Prof.Uppath Sasidharan extended the vote of thanks.
