The College Day celebration of 2K24 at Christ Hill Auditorium on March 1st, 2024, was a vibrant and memorable event, filled with performances and speeches that left a lasting impact on everyone present. The morning commenced with a beautiful prayer led by Ms. Mathangi Ajithkumar, setting a serene atmosphere for the day. Ms. Sreelakshmi & Team presented a captivating dance performance dedicated to the esteemed Chief Guest, Mr. Vidhu Prathap, a renowned Playback Singer. The welcome speech by Ms. Malavika Saravanan, Vice-Chairperson of the College Union, was both warm and inviting, setting the stage for the proceedings.
Dr. Tomy Antony, the Principal of YIMS, presented the Annual Day Report, highlighting the achievements and milestones of the institution. Ms. Bhavyasree Baburaj T, the Chairperson of the College Union, delivered a thought-provoking Presidential Address, inspiring the audience with her words. The highlight of the event was the inauguration ceremony, graced by the presence of Mr. Vidhu Prathap, who shared his insights and experiences as the Chief Guest.
Rev. Dr. Joseph Olikkalkoonal, Vice Principal of YIMS, and Dr. Divya N.K, Staff Advisor of the College Union, were felicitated for their invaluable contributions.
