“A Book can create many mind transactions ……”
The PG Department of Commerce conducted a 2nd Book Releasing and appreciation Programme for the II B.Com CA students. The main vision of this programme was to enrich the students about the ideas of exchange in their second book “RUDIMENTS OF ACCOUNTING” with ISBN no. Through this programme, we the P. G. Department of Commerce along with YIMS management enlightened our II B.Com CA students for their Book contribution to Yuvakshetra college. In this Book out of 47 students, 30 students participated in writing their articles and from their feedback,we understood that it was useful for them for their future learning proceedings.

Report: From 16th Dec to 17th December 2020 At Bishop House on 16th Dec
First day of the programme started at 12pm with a welcome address by the Director, Dr. Mathew George Vazhayil about the contribution of the second book of II B.Com CA students to Yuvakshetra. Later the session was handled by the Editor & Mentor Ms. Keerthi.M.S, Assistant Professor, Department of Commerce. She gave an “Introduction to Rudiments of Accounting” for the members in Bishop House, Palakkad.
The Bishop Mar Jacob Manathodath supported the Book innovation among the students and staff in Yuvakshetra college. Bishop appreciated Ms. Keerthi.M.S & Mr. George Jose for their introduction to the second book of II B.Com CA students of 2019-2022 batch in YIMS. He appreciated the publication tendency growth of Yuvkashetra college this year.
Director Dr. Mathew George Vazhayil, Assistant Director, Fr. Shyju Pariyath, Principal, Dr. Tomy Antony, Vice Principal, Dr. Lalu Olikkal, Superintendent, Mr. Josen P Jose, Head of Department, Dr. Matilda Danny, Professors Ms. Keerthi.M.S, Mr. George Jose & Ms. Anju.E participated in this releasing ceremony.
At Sophia Theatre, Yims On 17.12.2020
The programme started at 9.30am at Sophia theatre in Yuvakshetra with YIMS management and Commerce department faculties with II B.Com CA students who have published their second Book called “ Rudiments Of Accounting” with ISBN no. With a prayer by Ms. R. Gopika and Ms. Elsa Xavier, II B.Com CA we started our programme . The programme was anchored by Ms. Kavitha. J.V. Later Ms. Keerthi.M.S, Mentor of II B.Com CA and Editor of this book explained the stages of this new creativity to all. Then the Sub editor, Mr. George Jose, Asst Professor in Commerce has briefed his experience in this book issue.
After that the 4 team leaders had stated their team objectives and explained various topics that they handled in this Book “ RUDIMENTS OF ACCOUNTING”. They introduced their team members and topics of the Book. Later our Director, Dr. Mathew George Vazhayil appreciated the students and teachers for this new Book. Then our Principal, Dr. Tomy Antony briefed the importance of publication in academics. And appreciated the students for their work. After that HOD, Dr. Matilda Danny appreciated the students and mentor for this great achievement.
Later B.Com CA Incharge, Dr. S.Ramalekshmi congratulated Ms. Keerthi.M.S and Mr. George Jose and all the writers of II B.Com CA on their contribution. She reminded the students to take this opportunity to enlarge their ideas in coming third year also.
Atlast, Our Vice Principal, Dr. Lalu Olikkal propose a vote of thanks for the programme and congratulated the students and faculties for this great development. With a national anthem we have ended the programme at 10.30am. After that we took a team photograph with the management.
