As part of the “College day†programme, the students union and management decided to conduct an “Awareness Program on Road Safetyâ€. The program was organized at the symphony Auditorium and Training Centre, YIMS at 1.30 p.m. on Friday, 17 February 2017.
The program began at the symphony auditorium with an introduction and prayers. The welcome speech was delivered by the Director of YIMS Rev.Fr Cherian Anjilimoottil, who appreciated the role of Kalladikode Rotary club and the Rotary club in organizing this vital program.
Mr.Anoop Varkey, joint RTO,ottappalam, who initiated the organization of the session introduced the program and offered felicitations. A team of Transport Employees helped in presenting the different aspects of Road safety.
Thereafter, the awareness program on “ROAD SAFETYâ€, complete with activities, was conducted at two venues to care to the number of students of the college. One group received the instructions and training from Mr.Adrash Kumar .G Nair ,joint RTO and Technical project Director Kochi Metro, at the symphony auditorium YIMS.The other group was put under Mr.Ramesh.M,Motor vehicle Inspector,ottapalamand received their training at the training Centre YIMS.
