The PG Department of English Language and Literature, in association with IQAC,
organized a public awareness Rally, an extension programme, on September 30, 2024, from
Kongad Police Station to Kongad Bus Stand, commemorating World Heart Day. Dr. Krishna
Praveen addressed the students on the significance and importance of the day, emphasizing
the need for cardiovascular health awareness. Accompanied by Assistant Professors Ms.
Silpa T.M. and Dr. Krishna Praveen, students carried placards and banners displaying
awareness slogans during the rally. The event successfully reached numerous community
members, inspiring healthy practices and reinforcing the significance of cardiovascular well-
being.
