The Fibonacci Day is celebrated every year on Nov 23 that is connected with the Fibonacci Sequence 1, 1, 2, 3,5,8… of which the first 4 terms makes the day 23- 11. The Golden ratio, an irrational number, that we see in every designs and constructions in nature is the limit of ratios of the consecutive terms of the Fibonacci sequence. In connection with the celebration of Fibonacci day the department is organising various programmes such as workshop, seminar series, competitions etc.
