Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC)

With the aim to attain and ensure quality culture, Yuvakshetra Institute of Management Studies, Palakkad has registered for NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council) and hence IQAC is constituted under the Chairmanship of Dr. Tomy Antony (Principal, YIMS) on 01.11.2018 with faculty representatives from each Department and Stakeholders. The prime task of IQAC is to develop a quality system for conscious, consistent and catalytic progress in the overall development of the institution. IQAC is actively involved in implementing measures for value-based education in the campus for promoting the academic excellence of the students.

  • To inculcate and develop a strategic action-oriented system to enhance the academic excellence of the students and administrative performance of the staff.
  • To improve and develop measures in institutional functioning towards the attainment of quality-centered culture for the sustainable development of the institution.
  • To be a body of authority to stimulate quality-based education to achieve the overall excellence of the institution.
  • To promote welfare measures among the staff and students.
  • To facilitate a learner-centered environment by adopting the parameters for participatory teaching and learning.
  • To organize institutional/national/international level seminars/webinars/workshops/training programs on quality culture.
  • To implement several initiative programs and formation of cells/committees that sustains the institutional quality processes.
  • To arrange and collect feedback responses from students, staff and stakeholders.
  • To foster a cordial association with the stakeholders.
  • To encourage staff and students to equip with the modern ICT enabled tools in teaching-learning process.
  • To conduct academic audit in the institution to improve the quality of teaching and learning process.
  • Ensure the optimum level of clarity and focus in institutional functioning to impart a quality-based education.
  • Ensure and enhance the coordination and collaboration among various activities of the institution and foster all the best practices.
  • Ensure the internalization of quality education culture in the institution.
  • Provide the scope for proper and authentic documentations and keep the records for future reference in the accreditation process.
  • Ensure the improved functioning of the institution by attaining a greater level of transparency in the academic assessments.
