‘Literaria Insignia’- the literary club of YIMS was established in the Academic year 2019-2020. The literary club functions at Yuvakshetra Institute of Management Studies with an aim to develop analytical and creative thinking skills in students. It includes a spectrum of activities for all the students like, reviews of books, writing various genres such as short stories, serial stories, poetry, essays, articles etc. which would be used for publishing in various reputed journals. Also competitions like extempore, debates, case study presentation etc. are conducted.
The club offers opportunities to appreciate different types of literature and increase their own literary skills. The objectives of the literary club are to develop different perspectives for literature in the students. It aims to encourage the students’ skills for creative writing and expression. It also aims in enhancing the students’ acquaintance to the literature of various languages. The Literary Club aims at not only the literary talents of the students but attempts to develop in them logic and curiosity to know more and to instill in them a confidence to speak well.
The Club aims to provide platforms for all the aspiring writers and literature enthusiasts to unveil their talent through writing and editing. It also aims to publish anthologies and provide the ISBN certificates to all the co-authors. Post advent of 2020, the literary club stirred with more vibrant exposure with extracurricular alterations. It also encourages the students to become great orators to display their intellectual and independent thinking skills and imbibe a sense of confidence. It is widely aiming to promote communication skills of students and help in team work, ability to speak and emote before an audience thereby increasing the emotional quotient of the students.

Mrs. Divya N K of Hindi Department and Mr. Sreekumar of Malayalam Department function as the coordinators.
